Since 2022 Training in Healthcare have been working in collaboration with the N&W ICB, the UEA and NHS England to improve hydration among the elderly.

We are proud to say that we have trained over 460 people across 90 settings and were a Regional Finalist in the Great British Care Awa

The training is now offered in 4 Tiers and we strongly encourage everybody to complete all tiers to gain the maximum benefit of exclusive Hydration Champion Forum events, CPD and free training opportunities

See what others have to say about the programme...

Since taking part in the Hydration Champions programme, I have been rolling this out throughout the business I work for. It’s been gratefully received, and everyone is on board for this and looking forward to the positive impact that we see for the residents and staff. I would recommend this 100%. The actual delivery of the sessions was easy to follow but the message was put across in a way that has made it easy for me to take this forward in the business.
